Our story
We started OpenResume after watching too many talented people get filtered out by ATS systems — not because they weren't qualified, but because their resumes weren't formatted correctly.
The existing tools either looked great but used non-ATS-friendly layouts, or produced readable PDFs that no recruiter would notice. We wanted something in between: clean, professional templates that are machine-readable first and human-pleasing second.
